Its really sad, but dosent anyone else see this? i mean they use to re-do the entire the house which was so cool but now its like one room, and i cant even belive what was up with the dog house episode? one dog house in the backyard, that not what monster house was suppose to be about, besdies i almost fell asleep watching it and they made it a 2-part episode. any comments?

I thought it was funny: bring in five rejects from past episodes and see how they work together... Although it did kind of piss me off watching the one black guy [I absolutely REFUSE to call him 'Dr. Wood'] do his "thing" what with all the "dudes" and "homies" and whatnot...
Back on topic: I agree. I wish they kept with the traditional "Monster House" style and restyled the whole house instead of a small room or backyard or something...

it still a good, i love the episode with the five rejects. Was hilarous, Tombstone: I just want to eat donuts and wathc them fight was pretty funny. This sow i think the reason why they only do a few projects is cost, to do a whole house whould cost around 60,000 dollars, maybe a little less maybe a little more as with doing a room or two a few small projects you cut the price in half.
shareWhen Monster House started it required the homeowners to turn over their keys and whatever they wanted to do would have to be okay. I think they've just run out of people in the LA area who are willing to make that agreement. So they're probably negotiating with homeowners who just want them to do the backyard, trying to get a little bit more room to play with. If the show was willing to leave the LA area they'd have a much better end program.....

The problem is that they are now competing with shows like EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION (and to some degree RENOVATE MY FAMILY). Who can compete when they are constructing a whole new house in the time this show is constructing just a room or two.
That being said, I still enjoy this show A LOT!
I doubt they are running out of people's houses to monsterize.. they're probably running low on ideas. It would be hard to come up with a completely different idea every week.
I agree with the guy about "Dr. Wood," he was a total jerk. I would refuse to call him that to his face. All he was interested in was talking about how much money he makes and how good he was.
All those guys were brought in to liven up the show. And things did get stirred up!
I liked the electrician on the western house. That guy didn't know his butt from a hole in the ground! LOL, I got a kick outof watching them kick his butt out.
