Well you cannot really compare them since they both do different types of building even though they are similar.

I like Monster House better, but mostly because I am not really a car work/customizer type person. I do, however, know that Jesse and his crew was serious talent and creative skills.

Can't compare them imo, they both are good in their own right and don't compete.

It would be fun if they switched host for one show, Jessy would do monster house and Steve would do garage...it would be, interesting. :)

I personally like House better, but only because whenever there's something broken in my house, I jump to fix it... I'm kinda a handyman and can relate to House better...

Plus I'm not exactly into cars or motors or anything... But I am really interested in metal fabrication and whatnot, which is why I watch Garage in the first place...

Sorry guy, but Monster Garage is an incredibly weak hour of television. In contrast to Steve Watson's tendency to recognize and eliminate the effect of those people who are unable to put aside their personal issues, Monster Garage has a host who pitches in with his OWN issues. It's like watching a soap opera where none of the people are pretty. And all they do is play around with a car....not a whole lot of variation. Spending thousands of dollars instead of finding a way to build what they want doesn't give them any skill points in my book.

And while they are not simple, the projects on Monster House are usable for anyone with a bit of knowledge in construction and the willingness to learn. They don't depend on having an '96 Audi to start.

That's true digital divide, I enjoy watching monster house more. Even though they build some outrageous stuff, I like watching their basic construction skills or lack thereof. There's always new problems on MH where MG are always building cars or trucks. I know they add a lot of modifications, but it's basically the same. ie: how is this going to work with hydrolics... will this engine fit in this chassis?
