I loved season 1 and 5 - the rest were quite ridiculous. I actually enjoyed Selleck better than Caan. I also liked Camille Guaty much better than Nikki Cox - all in all, according to me, season 5 was the best one. :)

Season 5 was garbage. Delinda getting pregnant storyline was stupid.

Season 1 was definitely the best. Season 2 was good enough, but the 3rd season is where things began to go downhill. Getting rid of Nessa was the first big mistake. Nikki Cox became pretty hard to look at after she destroyed herself with that horrible plastic surgery job in between seasons 2 and 3. It also got old having the Danny/Delinda love storyline shoved further down our throats as each episode went by. I can never watch seasons 3-5 anymore since they really are that much worse than the first 2.

The show was really only good as long as James Caan was on.

I agree. I liked James Caan's character and as for Nikki Cox, yes she was hard to look at. She was hot in the first season.
