Similar Stories

I've never really gotten into the good vs. evil stories, so I'm wondering for those of you who have, about similar ones. Comic books, movies, television shows ... someone on the good side, versus a villain who is also human and not just pure evil, like Jack. With their qualities, they are like two puzzle pieces together.
