City of Men Soundtrack?
Does anyone know if a soundtrack exists? Also what is the name of the song/artist in the episode "The Ordinaries" at the end when they are having the party?

The name of the group is "O Rappa" and the song is titled "Homem Amarelo"

Yeah um whats the name of the song by the end of the first episode, the one about the crown. I think it is cartola, kind of sounds like him, but I cant figure out the title. Anyways if anyone knows the title that would be awsome.

i couldn't figure out what another song from this episode is called. its the one going as they escape from the rich apartments, when they are trapped in the tree. love the song but can't find it! any help would be much appreciated.

there is a different one i'm talking about in this episode, still in search of it even though it probably is another marcelo d2 one. after they get the kite back its not homem amarelo playing but i just can't figure it so far...

shareYeah the tune is that O Rappa one... Marcelo D2 is on a few of the episodes - 'A Maldição do Samba' and 'Qual É?' are definitely there. His album is ace - 'A Procura da Batida Perfeita' just got given a European release under 'Looking for the perfect beat'. I've been trying for ages to get the full details for the City Of Men soundtrack, but not much luck. 'Trilha Sonora' or 'Banda Sonora' is soundtrack in Portuguese if that helps... Most of it is just modern Brazilian music thats popular over there at the mo.
Fernanda Porto, Seu Jorge (he was Knockout Ned/Mané Galinha in City Of God)Teresa Cristina, Clara Nunes, Wilson Simoninha are all good in my opinion too. I might email Globo to ask for the playlist for the soundtrack to COM. Hmmm..

Anyone had any luck either purchasing this album (my portuguese is nil, so having no joy obtaining album from pacific.com) or managed to download any of the tracks??? Itunes have a live version of O Rappa's Homem Amarelo - that's about it though.

There's a copy of the city of men sountrack on ebay Brazil if you're interested, not sure about postage etc, my portuguese isn't too hot!
