No one's childhood is safe from Hollywood! lol

Its called "retro" you think all those movies in the 90's were original? nope, just remakes of old 70's stuff, because that's what was the in thing at the time. Everything on the radio was a remake of a 70's song, bands wanted to sound "70's-ish", its the same thing that's going on now, 'cept with 80's. All your tv shows and cartoons, 80's... but your kids don't know any better, to them a recycled Bernstein Bears or He-Man with CGI is brand new stuff. All that neo-new-wave music on the radio too, not original. NOTHING's original anymore. Its either them running out of ideas, or its the execs and producers wanting to relive their youth by re-doing stuff from that time.

I was a big Knight Rider fan when I was little, so I am looking forward to the movie and hoping Hasselhoff actually follows through with his plans. Though he's been talking about it since 2000... I have my doubts. *sighs*

I think they're doing it a lot faster now. Every time you turn around, it's a remake of something. I'm aware of them doing it in the 90's, as I remember a few of the movies, which I found out later were remakes, but it seems now, every week is a new movie based on a old tv series.

I'd agree with you because I consider this TV series to be a remake or reboot.

but The Berenstain Bears was never made in Hollywood. This show was made in Canada and the previous show was made in Australia. It was only the pilot specials that were made in New York City but not technically Hollywood.
