Just saw this at Sundance did anyone else catch the premier

I enjoyed this film, didn't love it, but I enjoyed it. It was a nice little film noir tribute and I loved the christmas irony. Acting was sub par except pollack who I have always liked. It was cool seeing him at the screening. The film overall felt more like a made for video or cable TV offering then a thearical base. It is one of those who-dunnits, where everything gets explained at the end. Now the title doesn't really mean anything for those of you who are wondering, the director just thought it was a cool title and felt film noir-ish. But it was good, not the worst thing i have seen at the festival so far.

The worse would be "What Sebastian Dreamt" a Guatemalan Cheesy bad thriller. I still gave that movie props for being one of the few actually completely filmed in Guatemala which is why it was picked by sundance I am sure. But I have only been to 5 screenings so far so we will see whatever else sucks, Last year was kind of dissapointing for good gritty dramatic films, they were more mushy and toned down, with quite a few pg-13 releases which is weird. I want more L.I.E, KIDS, Bully, and Narc type stuff at the festival.
