Again, SPOILERS! The feel good ending, Ned now a hero, reunited with his father while Rachael driving happily off into the sunset with her daughter was nice. However the VW is stolen (seemingly unknown to Rachael) and she will likely go to jail (at least for a while) next time she gets pulled over. Why leave this unpleasantness hanging over her head?
shareNed isn't the type to calculate anything, like when he cheated on Rachel, the heat of the moment kind of situation. LOVED the character, but he's not a thinker (not to say he's stupid).
shareDid you see the people he stole the car from? They're probably in jail themselves. Or they at least have open arrest warrants and aren't going to dare contact the police.
