Why exactly?

Did Krebbs ever really state why Gina was imprisoned? Was he trying to reform her into a better person, like Black Snake Moan?

Being inconsistent is better than being consistently bad.

C'mon, Bill V, you know better than this: He kept her locked up because he saw his old man "keeping his mom, and himself" as prisoners within their own home. And as the saying goes, "What's in the cat is in the kitten." But nice try and I always appreciate the fact that after -- how many years -- 5? -- some people still talk about 'THE KEEPER'. gs

But the "Topic Creator" answered his own question. "It's obviously because he was abused himself." Children learn from their parents. His dad excused his violent actions by truly believing he was doing what was right: "Keeping his wife off the streets". And now his son is also doing the "right thing". Isn't there a saying somewhere, "Like father like son?" Also another, "Monkey sees, Monkey does." And let's not forget my favorite, "What's in the cat is in the kitten!" gs

Well, you see it's like this: "Krebs' old man kept his wife, Krebs' mom, locked..." Ahhh, th' Hell with it. "He who lives in the past drives a Studebaker." And for your information, I was talking about a "flock of monkies!" "Have a nice evening?" Obviously, you've never seen my wife! gs
