worst movie i've ever seen!

definitly i haven't seen such a pointless stupid ,waste of time movie!

i dont know why would they do that movie any way...anyone has answers?

reply

I agree it was awful. I was very disappointed in all the brilliant actors for taking part.

reply

I think it’s one of Hopper’s better lesser known movies.

To make money ... or to improve the world.

I don't know the TV-ratings exactly, I can only tell that German Public TV has dubbed it, shows it and more often than some of the Top 250. It's a good late movie.

reply

Happy to hear this, and that, "It's a good late movie." The writer.

reply

I only watched 5 minutes of it and I agree. It's awful.

reply

It was absolutely disgusting and corny. I've never had nothing bad to say about a movie. Except with this one. And I am one of Asia Argento's biggest fans, Dennis Hopper is one hell of a good actor, but this movie was the worst movie I have ever seen.

reply

sad, isn't it ya'll? ,and we all watched it till the very end, hoping it would get better, lol

reply

Just curious: if you bit into a rotten apple would you eat it to the core hoping it would get better? I personally liked the film. Of course, bit prejudice, having written it. gs

reply

I just watched it - It was hilarious..

I watched it because I've always liked Dennis Hopper and have been thinking about him since I heard the bad news about him having not long to live.

We'll cherish these movies of his when he's gone. (even this one) He's always been extremely entertaining no matter what he was in..

It's the same with David Carradine. Dennis should have been in Homo Erectus and Sonny Boy with David Carradine so that fans could enjoy them both together. Three interesting cats, Gary Busey, David Carradine and Dennis Hopper .. should have made films together.

It's a one-legged race to the liquor store
It's just a hop, skip and jump into the tomb

You nailed it! There are parts that were meant to be funny, hilarious, off-the- wall, and I thought Dennis played it to a "T"! Whatever a "T" means. I also know he had a ball making the movie as I, the writer, was on location much of the time. "Dennis Hopper". Need one say more? gs

reply

Putting my overwhelming internet skepticism aside, I'll ask this: out of curiousity, how faithfully was the script translated to the screen?

---
Truffaut: Do dreams have a bearing on your work?
Hitchcock: Daydreams, probably.

reply

Fearing what's coming, I'm almost afraid to answer this. The script was very "faithfully" translated. Both the director and I insisted on that as did Dennis. As I've mentioned many times in various interviews, when he and I were introduced he hugged me and said, "You write more f-n words than any writer I've ever worked with...fortunately, they're good words." And when Asia kept insisting I cut out some of her "f...s", Dennis insisted I give them to him. gs

I agree with you, Ducky Boy (interesting name). It wasn't an easy part to play, and in spite of not liking the writer (me) she gave it all she had...and then some. gs

reply

It’s not even the worst movie Dennis Hopper has ever been in imo.
