Recommendations?

Hey all I've been having a terrible run of luck in the movies department lately and was hoping someone could recommend me some decent horror/thrillers. My faves include Session 9, High Tension, Ju-On, Wolf Creek, The Thing, The Hills Have Eyes (remake), Night Of The Living Dead (original), The Blair Witch Project, A Tale Of Two Sisters, Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original, etc. I'm more interested in the suspense side but a bit of gore is a bonus! Any help would be much appreciated!

Try watching 'What lies beneath'. It seems suitable for you. Another one, 'The Others'. Try both of them

The Hills Have Eyes is good, Deadly Blessing, Evil Dead, The House of Long Shadows, Nightmare on elm street, Friday the 13th, Audition, Ichi The Killer, 976 - EVIL, 2001 Maniacs, Poultrygeist, Flowers in the Attic, Monster in the closet, Village of the Damned.

There are loads more, but these are kinda really good ones!

Some Asian ones:

Shutter

One Missed Call 1 & 2
Phone
The Devil's Backbone (Spanish)
Witchboard
The Ghost of Mae Nak
The Tomie Series

If you have on Demand: They have the original TV series of Juon:

Juon: The Curse
Juon 2: The Curse

On the same lines as that...rent Ju-Rei... it is a prequel to Juon. A bit cheesy as far as special effects but good to watch.

Ju-rei is a prequel to Ju-on? I thought it was Gakkô no kaidan G or something.. Oh no.. I just hope Ju-rei's not related to Ju-on :S

Ju-rei is in no way related to Ju-on.

Shutter is scary as hell

I'd recommend 'The Eye' and the Japanese version of 'Dark Water'.

No one has suggested Infection (Kansen) yet, that is a great film that plays similar to Tale of Two Sisters. After the first viewing, you wonder "what did I just see?". After a few more watches it becomes clearer, but it doesn't get old... I've seen Infection several times, and it's still a great movie...
