How was Toshio going to school at the end of the movie, when his teacher visits the house? I just don't get why he'd go to school if he was dead. Was it to lure the teacher in because the ghosts knew that the teacher was best friends with Rika? I just didn't get this part.
shareThe way I saw it was that the teacher just had a mixed up list with his name on it and then just decided to check in on him at the house.
It never occurred to me that his spirit actually went to the school - perhaps the school was highly disorganised and accidentally put his name on the list, hence why Mariko went to investigate further.
Wasn't he on Mariko's list but not showing up?
It's a sad thing that your adventures have ended here
