Remake worth seeing?

I recently (finally) got around to watching Ju On, and, since I viewed it late at night all alone found it to be quite scary actually, even if the plot sucked and the acting was just passable, although the actresses were quite hot. Lol so is the remake any good? It doesn't get a great score on here, but then again neither did the original
