Well, why exclude them? All of the stuff people put on Facebook and the whole Googleverse is monitored and exploited by those Big-Brother-out-for-profit companies -- and everybody who manages to hack their way into their systems.

What people put out on fb, etc., is by choice.
I do agree that fb, etc., should be reigned in more re: personal information they would like to use at will, w/o permission of the user. Shouldn't be happening.
Also, NSA had various programs, etc., intentionally put in 'back doors' so that they (NSA) could 'hack' into our info without our knowing it, but with the side effect that it also made our computers more vulnerable and easier for others to hack into.
