It's a very entertaining segment, though it often feels more like a profile of Ahmet Ertegun than an overview of the label. Maybe that's the point. And the finale doesn't leave me a lot of hope for the future of music. Kid Rock and Paolo Nutini anyone? Is this thing on?
Regardless, 8/10 stars from me for the fine footage from the finest eras of rock, soul and blues.
