I know some of the recent episodes are available, but most of the older ones are not. What's the point of creating an educational documentary series for public television and then making the episodes impossible to access?
Older episodes aren't available for streaming on the PBS website. Used copies aren't available on Amazon. And good luck finding an avenue for downloading them, too.
What the hell gives?
No kidding. This remains relevant, and it would be so very nice of PBS to make all of the American Masters series available... at least as streaming on site... better yet, that and DVD/DVDr. This has remained a quality program... much better than the sensationalist empty *beep* put on many cable channels. I actually have a VHS of this sitting right next to me, and all I can do is look at it sitting there, pick it up, eat it... nothing to play it on, though I suppose I can remedy that situation.

This particular one on Bob Dylan was just re-released on Blu-Ray.
