Is this going to be in a theatre or on DVD?

They told us at the premiere (the April 14th one, not the later "World Premiere" April 20th one) that it was due out on DVD August 31st. It's supposed to play some conventions and an art theater or two in Southern California. Tried to get them to do a Sacramento showing, but they said "Marketing said no". There's a possible hint of an "illegal" viewing in Sacramento though.
