How could they not know who he was when spoliers

When James is at the police station, it is said that he had blood work and a DNA swab done and were waiting for results.... Wouldn't it come up that he was actually Martin?? Or am I missing something

Identical twins do, yes. But Reese was never implicated so it really doesn't matter

I'm pretty sure the blood work and DNA was for the victim, to id him. I just watched this and like it, but if they were watching Costa then who was the guy under the bed in the basement?
