Major plot hole with the ending *Spoiler*

Am I missing something here? How on earth did Ketchum and his partner survive falling out of a 747 at 30,000 feet ?

We clearly see them tumbling out of the door to their deaths, and I could not see any way they could have survived unless they were tied to the other plane (they werent) or they have a parachute of some kind (they didnt)

So as viewers we can assume they both died, which ruins the end of the movie completely

The implication is that they anticipated the double-cross and had parachutes "hidden" under their jackets (yeah, right). Even if they did manage to hide reeaally flat chutes, at 30000 feet, there'd be too little oxygen and the temp would be -100F, so there's no way they'd survive anyway. Also, how did the girl manage to find them in the truck at the end - clairvoyance? I actually liked this movie overall, but I admit it has a big "don't think too hard about it" factor.

I saw this move late one night on tv and I just caught the ending. I saw the two characters get kicked out of the plane and then they appear later and steal back the money. They never addressed how they survived. IIRC one of them was shot and it seemed so dumb because like you said where was no evidence of a parachute. Even if they have them we see them twisting in the air so it would take skill to maneuver in mid air to open them. Then I thought maybe they glided to another plane. But I only caught the ending of them movie so I was unsure.

When they show up again it's never brought up. I thought maybe it was addressed in the beginning of the movie that these guys have a special set of skills or are the world's best theives. I didn't catch the name of the movie but I remembered Matt O'Toole from "Life Without Dick" so I searched him up to find it but I missed it on his filmography. I thought I had mistaken him. This was like two years ago, and it came to mind again so I tried again and finally I found it. I'm glad I am not alone on how stupid it was.

The world is quiet here.
