Worth Getting a Babysitter For

My family and I were fortunate to meet Peter Riegert outside the theater that King of the Corner was playing in Highland Park, IL last week. We did not have a sitter and our kids are young, but he was nice enough to talk to us for a few minutes about the film. At the last minute we were able to get a babysitter so that we could see the late showing of the film. This was a wonderful film that made us laugh and at one point teary-eyed (my father recently passed away and parts of the film hit very close to home).

There are characters in the film that everyone can identify with. My husband is starting to answer is phone at the office "Sol Spivak". (See the film and you'll understand) The cast was incredible and it is well worth seeing!

When the film comes out on DVD look for it. I think it would make a wonderful holiday gift to a family member.

I have tremendous respect for Peter Riegert for standing behind (or in front of) his work and his willingness to talk to audiences about the film. Being able to meet a star that we've respected for years and see a thoughtful, humorous film on the same night made for a very memorable evening. Thank you Peter Riegert!
