shareI am in Australia too and I watched it and you are right, it really did suck, someone with too much time and a bit of $$$ thought of a crappy plot and made it into a crappy movie.
shareI don't see whats so bad about this movie. I like it. It does have a stupid plot that makes no sense (A lightning storm makes a movie become real? What the heck?!?) but I still enjoy it.

This crap movie deserves some comments at least every two or three years, so here goes.
Yep, this movie is absolutely dreadful and a disgrace for any of the actors to be a part of it. I kept looking a the time left and couldn't wait for it to end, but I stuck it out just to see if it was really as bad as I was witnessing. It got even worse near the end.

While this wasn't really anything spectacular, I didn't feel that it was complete trash. I don't see any problems with some tv channel running this at Halloween. There's no blood, guts, swearing or nudity, so why not run it? Kids nowadays are so jaded by what they see on a daily basis, I don't think anyone would be scared by this. Give poor Linda Blair a break and run this a dozen or so times in October so she can collect some residuals!
It was on Syfy here just seen it gave it 4 out of 10.
It would be an OK film to watch on the October 31st though.
