I never liked the bitch much in the books, but Tilda Swinton was so FABULOUS in the role I wanted to become one of her minions.

So regal, so dangerous, so overwhelmingly pagan! Everything C.S. Lewis would have feared and hated! So much more fun than the stupid CGI lion and those whiny kids!

She was winter and the lion was spring. They were part of the same cycle. That was until he worked out the deeper story in the other books.
