I just bought this game. Why only 2 weapons?

I was able to find it for 3$ at the dollar store. Surprisingly, it costs 22 CAN$ on Steampowered. It was the only copy there in a bin for movies for kids. LOL.

The game is.... very different. Lots of babes and machoism. Much more than Duke Nukem 3D which I played in 1997 and 1998.

Why can Duke hold only 2 weapons? I guess they tried to make the game realistic.
You can easily run out of bullets and I had to throw a pipe bomb at flying aliens to bring them down. If I didn't have the pipe bomb, I would be stuck since these 2 were just flying around.

Also, I hate the fact that I can't save the game. What is this CHECKPOINT crap? Ghostbusters from 2009 had the same issue. What in the world are these guys thinking?

Oh, I see.
There is an option that you check and now, you have 4 weapons.

I finished the game. It was too short.
