Rick Schroder keeps surprising me

Does anyone else think Rick Schroder is an amazing talent? He blew me away on NYPD and now his first movie he wrote and directed is amazing and recieving tons of acclaim.

I agree. Much love to Mesamood. Scroder definately has talent. Silver Spoons was his shining moment, he came back with some decent work on NYPD Blue, and he still is managing to impress. Films like Black Cloud really do prove that Rick is among the ranks of such acting greats as Corey Haim, Corey Feldman or even Lawrence "Chunk" Cohen from the Goonies.

Good on ya!

Let me tell you......I am still not used to calling him Rick. I grew up watching him from diaper commercials to the Champ (Boo-Hoo movie)through Silver Spoons. I was suprized with his little movies along the way. I was puzzled by the small part in Crimson Tide. NYPD Blue threw me. Where did the Ricker go. My walls were cover with his posters, along with Scot Baio, Kirk Cameron, etc...Hell, he's only a year younger than I. I could just kill myself for missing out on the chance to finally meet him when he was within 20 miles of my house . I have always felt that Ricky was full of talent. But I am really impressed with the fact that his family comes first. He left NYPD Blue for them. And he is involved with his boy's sports. Money isn't everything. You go Ricker!

But does he wear his magic underwear in the movie?

reply

I just finished watching this segment on E! and it was damn funny, especially when the "magie underwear" discussion started. lol

You didn't mention his role in Lonesome Dove. He was excellent in that mini-series.
