Did he die? There was no mention of him after the fight except that he had bled a lot and it didn't look good.
I thought it was strange he wasn't mentioned after that.
In the original script jimmy does survive and was actually going to be placed in a hospital room (the scene was cut for time and financial constraints)for the pre-fight sequence. In the final cut the mention of how bad he looks fortells a grim out-come for "A fight gone wrong" But, trust me Jimmy does live and is doing well.
