Shana Hiatt - Why?
Does anyone know why Shana Hiatt left? I haven't watched the WPT much this season and I'm guesing it's because Shana Hiatt left. She fit the host postion perfectly.

shareWPT is definitely not the same show it used to be. I no longer get excited for new episodes. I think Shana Hiatt being gone is just one reason. And now that they no longer offer any Internet qualifications for their tournaments, you probably will see a drop in the size of the fields, which would have been unthinkable a couple of years ago.
Last week, I was following the live updates from the WPT event at The Bellagio on bluffmagazine.com and the updates stated that the live audience was about half of what it normally is. Don't know if that is a sign of things to come, but it sure doesn't look good...
Who isn't in love with Shana Hiatt she's so awesome. Just saw her on the Poker after Dark program which airs every night at 2am on NBC. As far as the WPT itself, I already posted a thread about how I'm bored with it. Who the hell wants to see a final table with 4 out of 6 players are amateurs and internet players that we know we'll never see again. The shows that are taking over are the smaller tournaments where the networks pick the top players out there. Look at this past world series. I can't imagine that did as good in ratings as the year before. every time I turned on a world series broadcast I kept saying to myself "who the hell are these people" they're terrible
shareShana Hiatt was hot, but gentlemen her interviews were embarrassing. She'd say something crap and the player who was just knocked out, who was usually in no mood to talk, would mumble some garbage and then she'd say back to you Mike. So i didn't mind her there, but you could mute it when she was on.
shareThis past World Series was great. What are you smoking? Poker After Dark by the way is the most boring piece of crap I have ever seen. The players don't even really care. The show you should watch is High Stakes Poker on GSN. That's good. And the World Series every year is the best. I still like WPT, and you can still get buy-ins online. I don't know what that guy was talking about.
shareA little bit of hydro but that's besides the point. If you like seeing nothing but unknown amateurs and bad internet players, then yes it was great. I like poker after dark. I agree with you that High stakes poker is on of the best poker shows on tv.
