Funniest WPT moment

I think it was a 2005 episode where it came down to heads up with Nole Francisco and some other amateur. I guess they were dead even in chips on the last hand. I don't remember the actual hand or what was on the board, but after the hand was over, the usual craziness went on with everybody cheering and going crazy like always when somebody wins a wpt event. Needless to say Nole won the hand.

What followed had to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen on a poker show. The camera was on both these guys and Nole showed no emotion and looked confused. Vince van Patten made a comment like "loosen up Nole, you just won a wpt event!" But when you looked at both these guys, they were both just standing there staring at the board with the most puzzled, dumbfounded look on their faces. After a few seconds, it was apparent that neither one of them had any clue who just won the event! They shook hands and everything but had no idea who won that hand. The amateur even reached into his pocket and pulled out his glasses and still continued to study the board along with Nole. Then finally after almost a full minute of staring at the board, Nole finally realised he won the event and put his arms up in celebration. Vince made a comment like "he's figured it out" LOL. I guess you really had to see it, but it was hilarious. I couldn't believe that not only the amateur who made it to the final table couldn't figure it out, but that it took Nole Francisco, who is a professional, so long to figure out who won the hand. I definitely wanna tivo this if it airs again. It was classic. The look on both these guy's faces as they shook hands and the crowd was going crazy was just priceless

Sorry I don't remember. It's been a few years since I saw it. So I probably didn't do it justice in my description and I probably was a little off on a couple of things. But it did seem like it took both those guys forever to figure out who won the tournament. The amateur probably never would've figured it out. lol These guys had to have been nervous as all hell. One point Nole made a string bet and the amateur called him on it. There was another hand where Nole said "I raise" and then the amateur said "I call" before Nole even said the amount. Classic stuff.

They showed it again! It was on the Tony Dunst segment of this week's episode. Hilarious
