Let's Try Again Now!

So I think that they should try making the show again now. Here would be my perfect cast and why:

Gaia Moore: Kristen Bell (she has that sassy piss off attitude in V-Mars and Heroes. We know she can act wonderfully and I think that she would be one of the few young actresses able to take on a role as complicated as Gaia.)

Ed Fargo: Adam Brody (I think that Adam Broady would be the better choice because he has the same sense of humor and a plus he knows how to skateboard (see Grind).

Heather Gannis: Sophia Bush (she has that bitch but nice attitude and can pull off both sides of the story).

Sam Moon: Eric Balfour (just cause I think that he is hot!)

Mary Moss: Lauren Ambrose (just watch six feet under and you will understand)

Ella Niven: Melinda Clarke (CSI, the OC, need I say more)

Tom/Oliver Moore: Victor Garber (just take out a little of the gray to make him look a little younger and wala!)

Josh (and his Clones): Ian Somerfield (I totally think that he could play the badass part and the softy part)

Tatiana: Blake Lively (she has the attitude and the look, it is rumored that she was a model for the Book for the role of Tatiana, which is also a plus.)

That's My Ideal Cast. I can't think of any other actors or actresses for the other roles as of right now but let me know what you think!
Also I just wanted to put this out there about the pilot that is out there.

I think that if they would have given the series even the slightest chance and let if played out they could have easily done flashbacks of Gaia in New York and her old life and than bring back old Characters. I almost wish that I had the money to support this because I know that none of the stupid critics and people that canceled the show read the books because than there would have known how die hard the fans are about the series. And why they shouldn't have changed such crucial things like her hair and eye color. I think that if they timed it right with the release, they could have picked up the Alias fans by releasing this show in 2006. Now it is going to sit somewhere rotting. I just hope that someone will take the time and money and turn this show in the reality that it needs to be. So many books are becoming movies and they are ruining them. This show had the potential to go far and draw in a lot of views and they didn't give it the proper time to develop. I wish that the damn networks would take some more time and let there shows develop!

It's totally typecasting the actors.

Just bc Adam Brody played a funny skateboarder in a couple of movies doesn't mean that he could pull off the nerdy wheelchair.

Sophia Bush played the same character on One Tree Hill (Is that still on?)

Sam Moon is supposed to be dreamy, Adonis-like, not dirty like Eric Balfour looks.

Lauren Ambrose is like 40.

Melinda Clarke played Ella on the OC.

Victor Garber is Tom Moore in ALIAS.

Whatever.
I just think a 'Once More, with Feeling' update is in order.
All those actresses you mentioned would be too old, however...remember, if this series DOES stay true to the book as it ought to do then the characters are all meant to be in high school.

Anybody else starting to wonder if perhaps 'Alias' is HELLA derivative from this series?

Since Katheryn Winnick is too old now, Gaia Moore should be played by an unknown, foxy, blonde-haired, blue-eyed, martial artist in between 20-24.

The rest should be played by unknowns too.

As for the show itself, just adapt the 30-odd original books into two seasons set in junior and senior year of Gaia's highschool life. Then jump 4 years into the future and see Gaia recruited into the FBI.

"24" by Jem has to be the theme song!

There's only one party worse than this: the Donner party-and they had better food!
