Purple Butterfly Region 1 DVD Release
February 10, 2005

Purple Butterfly, Chinese director Lou Ye's story of cross-cultural love and fate set during the 1930's Japanese occupation of China, will be released in North America on Region 1 DVD on February 15, 2005. The DVD's features will include 5.1 surround sound, theatrical trailer, previews, weblinks and audio in Mandarin, Japanese and Vietnamese with English subtitles.

Oh my gosh!! That's tomorrow!!! I'm so excited. I hope I can find a copy for rent somewhere, I really want to see this movie. Thanks for the info!

uhm, no problem. But this was posted a year ago. Many already have the R1 Purple Butterfly DVD that was released last year.

Oops. Wow. I seriously don't think I could feel dumber right now. I love how I didn't even look at the year. Nice. Well, my mistake, but thanks for the info anyway, even though I'm a year late :-P
