She WAS going to go to the VIDEO SHOOT in the metallica T-Shirt but she ends up going in a I LOVE NEW YORK T-Shirt instead, or did you all miss the part where they change clothes.

It doesn't matter because simple plan and metallica are both HARDxCORE and when you're hard core like Mary Kate Olsen it doesn't matter what music you listen too as long as it's HARDxCORE and off the wall! Wow i wish i was as heavy as Mary Kate Olsen...then I could drink mountain dew and listen to Fallout Boy and play video games and my favorite movie would be Farenheit 9/11 because I'd be sooo edgy and nuts!! Mother of God I might just go to the mall right now and buy myself some cheaply made bondage pants and a studded belt!!! WOWWWW!!!

Guys... They didn't dress themselves. They had stylists do that for them. Calm down. This movie is for preteens and most of them probably wouldn't know who Metallica is anyway and all really love Simple Plan. And for the record, just because you like Simple Plan doesn't mean you can't like Metallica too.

I believe it was. Phew~

You're not supposed to wear the band shirt of the band you're going to see..

reply

This is true. I laugh when I see all the teenieboppers running around in the band shirts they just bought, not realizing how silly they look.

To the OP, I know plenty of people who like both Metallica and Simple Plan. No, they're not the same genre. They're very different bands, with GENERALLY very different fans. But you're going to knock somebody for having a variety of music taste? I like both Tool and The A-Teens. Sue me.

This is what I was coming here to talk about.

That's just a pointless comment lol.
I've worn my metallica shirt to a low key indie concert before.
You can like metal and punk rock.
Is there a rule to like one thing or something, cus if so I'm breaking it lol.

reply

Does it really matter what she wore? Lmao, just be happy it wasn't a Britney Spears top to a Metallica concert. To everyone who is complaining that a Metallica top shouldn't be worn to a Simple Plan gig, people can both like Metallica and Simple Plan. Stop getting your panties in a twist over it.

Will Smith's grandma wore a Hank Williams T-shirt to a Heavy D concert in an episode of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air; I suppose you've got a problem with that, too?

I once wore a Tesla T-shirt to a Kenny G release party. Kenny thought it was cool.

Seriously, it's clothing. Not nearly as big a deal as you've been led to believe. I would be willing to be that you would see a lot of things that would surprise you should you ever choose to actually go to a concert yourself.
