Has any one noticed how much he copies from jean jeunet

I mean really dont get me wrong its a fantastic little piece, but when I saw I could swear that was jeunet doing all the directing. What really did it for me were those 2 twin old ladies on the way out of the head shop. Perhaps he is paying homage in reference to city of lost children.

Anyone else feel this way?

I felt that too.
I don't know for sure when and were but something was strange.
I don't know who copies who...
My opinion.

Yes I thought that all the way through too - also felt to me like a live action Belville Rendez-Vous (think it was the giant boat that did it) . . .

Now you mention it, it was quite stylistically similar to Delicatessen.

Actually that's nothing compared with another but far better example. Have you seen "La Cravate" directed by Alejandro Jodorowsky in 1957? "Man without a Head" was simply an animation version of "La Cravate", Period.
