He doesn't seem to have a lisp when he sings, but when he talks you can really tell it's there. He sounds drunk sometimes..

Umm... He was actually into the psychedelics (LSD mainly) when he was into drugs (for a very very long time.) And as far as the alcohol goes.. He may still drink, but he hasn't done a show wasted and *beep* since his "revelation" of how much of an *beep* he was being to his fans.

he did a great job with his "interview" for that mtv show. i hate mtv, and it sucks that modest mouse got sort of whored out to the mainstream, but that interview was cool. he does have a *beep* crazy lisp though. damn

if you enjoy good news, by all means listen to it.
if you enjoy long drive, please listen
personally i love lonesome or the fruit that ate itself, so i will listen to that.

Mmmm-hmm a user completley bashing other people about not liking a band is certainly important. I totally agree with you on that. You know I like you. We should be pals. Think of all the crazy adventures we would have. I would say something, and you complain about said "something" and then contradict yourself about it. Wouldn't that be GREAT? I think it would.

But dreaming of friendship aside, I have no problem with people stating their opinion, infact I love Modest Mouse. I'm constantly listening to The Lonesome Crowded West cd, and I think Isaac's singing is great. However, people who bash someone for not liking said band are idiots. Hey everyone. I just got done reading the whole thread. Much fun to be had.

Internet arguments are funny, because no one ever wins....

But now, the point. Isaac Brock is awesome, and so is Eric Judy and Jerimiah Green. But yeah, i love Mosdest Mouse. Yeah, I got introduced through Good News. I mean, who cares if theres a really popular single? Its a good song, damnit. But yeah, I heard the song on mtv, flipping through the channels, and simply whispered "i need more!" So I went out and bought the cd. Great cd, nonetheless. I decided to do some research, and get some other cds. I must admit, my favorite is Building Nothing out of Something. Now, I also have Lonesome Crowded West, Long Drive, Night on the Sun, a burnt copy os the rare Interstate 8, Fruit that Ate Itself, Good News, and the new one, We Were Dead Before the Ship EVen Sank, which i didn;t listen to yet. I think its pretty cool how they got Johnny Marr to join though.

Okay, now, Isaac seems like a great actor, as shown throught the Good News promo, where he interviews himself. I love that interview, especially when the interviewer is replaced with a doll.

I think this movie is gonna rock! It's sounds like a psychedelic kind of kids movie, like Yellow Submarine, but better. ^_^

There was an outtake on youtube for awhile. He played another astronaut that goes to talk to the psychiatrist guy about how he is coping with being on Mars for Christmas. He actually did really well, but apparently didn't make it to the actual cut of the movie.
