strange and beautiful

things i like the most at this film:

- style of the image: increased contrast and faded colours make you think of a dystopia (the story is helping too);
- style of the camera: it gives the feeling of a dream-like vision; some shots seem to be in slow motion, even if they're not;
- main characters' clothes: make them look like real urban (non)heroes;
- dialogues: saying nothing more than they should.

all of these remind me of some interesting manga

a story on the senseless lives of two young men, one (nimoru) trying to control his attacks of rage, the other (mamoru) just having enough of everything and revenging on an apparently perfect and inocent family. mamoru's dad comes into the story, approaching nimoru and speaking frankly about sense of things and the cruel reality, which makes nimoru get out of the trap of his dreams.

and don't forget about the red venomous jellyfish :)
