A fantastic actor, and a very smart man. He gets involed in many areas of the entertainment bis as well as politics and social issues in Japan. Not bad for someone who came from being simply (quite goofy) comedian.

I've seen Zatoichi, Hana-bi and Kikijiro.


All superb with the latter my favourite I think. Beautiful film.
