Eve and Duke wardrobe mistakes

Something that REALLY bothered me is Eve's clothing/hair. Her father is a corporate bigshot, they live in a huge Park Avenue apartment, she goes to a private school. Girls of that particular class/socio-economic level do NOT have acrylic nails, tattoos or wear that much make-up or their hair the way Eve does.

There is a whole dress code for these girls, and the film got it totally wrong. Sure, there are some rebellious girls who dress differently, like goth or punk-ish. But not a single one would EVER wear acrylic nails with long white tips like Eve did.

And the same thing goes for Duke. His greasy slicked-back hair and sideburns... That would never fly in management at a Fortune 500 company.

The filmmakers got this all wrong. I wonder if it was intentional.

I agree fully with you on Eve's nails - they looked cheap and hooker-ish. I found it distracting.

As far as Duke, I think his father was the owner of the company so that's possible.
