Music was terrible!

I personally found the music in this movie to be SO annoying. It was a major distraction to the dialogue! Just about every single scene in this movie had two things going on at once, whether it be two conversations or a conversation with some terribly annoying music playing... mostly an accordion tune of some sort, which, nothing against accordion music, was probably one of THE most annoying instruments to have playing during a movie. So bottom line... music was annoying lol. Does anyone else agree?

well I am only 20 minutes in, and the overall mood is great! the music so far has been an interesting mix of original music, and this artist that I seriously adore Prefuse73. I was surprised to hear his music in here, and to be honest was only distracted because I knew who it was.

I thought the music fit the mood perfectly, and those "tunes of some sort" you were hearing were CHRISTMAS CAROLS! Almost all of them minor-key, and very fitting. It was tragi-comic to the "Nth" degree!

I loved the music. It was very different and creative. Does anyone what the name of it is?

reply

I loved the music as well. It really fit everything that was going on in the movie, and it wasn't the same orchestral music we here in every movie (not that there's anything wrong with that).

The score was terrible. I know I said this in another post but I felt like I was at some polka funeral. I didn't catch the prefuse 73 in there but that's good music.

reply

Yes, it was bad. The music was also too loud, and overpowered, especially, at the end.

agreed ... and I can only listen to so much Dylan, ick

reply

The music was a bit distracting at times.

reply

Would have preferred not to have so many Christmas carols. So trite.
