i missed the first hour of the movie, can someone fill me in on what happened?

The rich kid decides to tell his parents that the female teacher rapes him. His parents press charges against the teacher and school. We are lead to believe that the teacher may have been flirting and provoking a sexual relationship but from a different perspective. Charges are reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor and she will serve little time after pleading guilty. She can no longer teach. While awaiting her sentancing, a female pupil comes forward after hearing that the teacher and her husband will be expecting their first child, admits that the rich boy raped her too. Charges are dropped and the woman is teaching again in the same school.
you saved me the necessity of watching this dumbass movie. I fail to see the reason for using Ms. Berkeley when so many other actresses are so much better and probably cheaper.

shareThe student tried getting personal with the teacher while she was tutoring him, and she tried to keep it on a professional level. I would have felt very uncomfortable with the way he talked to her early on.
The student tries to kiss the teacher after she gets out the pool at school. She tells him he needs help. She goes to the principal and is told to handle it herself by talking to the student. The principal talked to him, and he tells her the teacher came on to him. She doesn't appear to believe him, so he got really mad at the teacher.
Later the student just walked into the teacher's house and ripped her shirt while attempting to kiss her. It looked like he was going to rape her. Then he just told her he loved her and left. No sex happened. Why did he stop? He changes the story and tells the authorities she molested him.
The police arrest the teacher, and you probably know what happens from there.
