maybe it was a personal thing, but i hated chrissie's character right from the begining. i thought she came across as a self indulgent bitch really. she seemed so sure of herself and just took that whole 'professional approach' to everything a little too far. she was a woman on a power trip, she could blatantly tell that josh was attracted to her but did nothing. if she didnt see what was coming then she was ignorant. either really bad script or really bad acting...im sorry

I took it to mean that she didn't really want to believe what was happening. She may have "known" but didn't really want to admit it. As a teacher, you never want to assume something about a student when it could be completely innocent. It would make for very uncomfortable surroundings.

That's what I think about it, anyway. :)

I used to work in the school system as a subsitute, but I have my middle school students saying that they thought I was pretty. I know I kind of looked their age I was about 23-24 at the time subing. Anyways, I can symphasize with Chrisse she didn't lead Josh on or nothing and when things got bad she did go to the principal. The principal acted like there wasn't anything she can do.

The kid was stupid, but she was the one who said yes to having lunch with the student, and acts as if she didn't know what he was after.

Is there a reason you can't have lunch with a student? As a teacher, I find her acceptance to the lunch invitation questionable, but that is only because I know how the movie ends. If this were any regular teacher, I would think nothing of it. They are not sitting next to each other or touching in any way. I would simple think she was wanting to connect with him in order to better understand him.

I did. i feel bad for her. and i have it on right now.
He was so wrong for doing that to her, i would have recorded him period.
she should have,then she would've been able to prove it,then he attack her
smh
