Biopic

Any 'Wire' fans around? Dominic West, who plays Detective Jimmy McNulty on 'The Wire' would be dead-on Shane if they ever made a biopic. He is an English actor, so an Irish accent wouldn't be much of a stretch. And as anyone who watches a lot of 'The Wire' might recognize, they have eerily similar speech patterns and inflections. I dunno, slap a hideous set of fake teeth on him, and I think West would make a damn fine MacGowan.
