I just found this out and thought I’d pass I along; apparently he doesn’t die.
Jericho also seems to have survived.

Driver Vegas, a video game only released for cell phones? How odd.

That is correct. But is believed to be a 'what if' story. Driver Vegas is NOT an official game. It was not made by Reflections. And nor is Driver:LA Undercover (A new mobile game. Tanner is the main character in LA in the year 2008). See ?

I still want to believe he lived. It just felt so pointless to kill him off.
