Lisa Blount was an awesome talent.

She made a stronger impression on me than any other actor in "An Officer and a Gentlemen" and it was wonderful to see her work again with Grace Zabriskie, who played Debra Winger's mother in "...Officer...". Couple that with winning an Oscar with her husband for a "Best Short Subject," a haunting performance in "Chrystal" and an "Alison Krause" level bluegrass singing voice and you have one awesome talent. Not to mention, she certainly looked incredible naked at 47. I miss her and I do not say that often about anyone, especially someone I never met. Coincidentally, she died of the exact same disease that afflicted my first wife.
