Remarkable film

For a first time film maker Gaston Biraben has put together an extraordinary film. Because of its simplicity it can be easy to overlook the fine construction that's gone into the making of it. Fine performances by the entire cast but an outstanding performance by the young actress Barbara Lombardo.

I do have to agree. I thought the film was amazing. I am an American who lived in Argentine for quite some time, and I can't even begin to describe the feelings I have inside me after having watched this film. From the interactions of Barbara and her friends, to the troubles she had finding out the true story of her parents brought tears to me eyes. It made me think so deeply about the time I spent in that country, and of a sign I still can remember in the University of Buenos Aires, showing the pictures of missing faces from the late '70s. Extraordinary film, I give it a 10.
