what happened to Tia Jewel ?

There's many threads floating around about them. But word was that she was upset about her pay compared to LisaRaye's. And since her character wasn't "essential," she decided to leave. Or at least that's what I interpretted by what everyone was saying.

The show said she left Robert, FOR GOOD, and she lied about her pregnancy. So basically the 3rd season started off with Robert being single again, and trying to get over Tia.

The question was what happened to TIA JEWEL. I mean, I can figure out why ELISE NEAL left. Money, or maybe just sick and tired of the show. But people are asking about the CHARACTER. How was the CHARACTER written out?
