The Poodle with Rino Thunder

I only just saw this film last night. We had been looking at a place to move to on 7th street on that exact block and watched it out of curiousity. We live across the park from this neighborhood. I was amazed to see my dog there in the film. He was rescued by my fiance about 9 years ago running stray across Ave B & A and someone told him the poodle had been homeless in the park so we took him in. We never knew anything about his past of course and we were shocked and amazed to see him in this film. It also solved a mystery about him- that every now and then he would run all the way up the stairs to the roof level of our building. We never knew why but now we do. I am sorry to have seen Rino in such a bad way and have also read he died in 2003. I am thankful he gave my dog a place to live before he came to live with us. Our poodle is a wonderful guy.

That's really cool you got Rino's dog! Maybe Josh knows the dog's name. I dunno. I could ask him.

Evelyn at the groomer he used before he got sick verified he is named- she didn't know the spelling but she said it was Sop (pronounced Soop) and its a Native Am term and I looked it up and wow does it fit! Its a doll character who has it's paws in the gravy- if this is what he named the poodle after then it really fits because this pooch swipes food all the time!

All I would really like to know is do you have out takes from the 7th street DVD or pictures of the poodle when he was living with Rino. We'll pay for any time materials needed to get that or take the scans if you have any pix from back then with the poodle in them. Evelyn thinks the time when people thought he was dead but he was actually in the hospital, he was in a wheelchair after that- the dogs were loose in the park. When you are asking him questions and he says the dogs had died he was also in a wheelchair, this was probably when my bf rescued the poodle. This doggy is quite the old-timer and we love him and just want to find out anything on his life before we got him. Any help would be great
