Found it really disturbing to see Michael Madsen driving in car, wearing no seatbelts, Talking into Mobile Phone and barely looking on the street...
He would be very welcome by our german police for doing that.
The fine would be at least 120€ and I think some points too.
Is this in the US allowed?!?

I live in one of the largest cities in Australia and sometimes some detectives go out unarmed, they're crazy. It's not like they're not allowed to either, they're just don't think they need to here as it's really safe.
All they have to do is go to the gun safe and sign one out.

The UK has much more stringent gun control laws, and they don't have anything like the per capita gun ownership that we do, so they don't NEED to have all their cops carrying guns.
