Shame on all of you for letting this show continue!

I can't believe that some of you people actually have good things to say about this garbage! It is the stupidest, most poorly acted, and most boring show on (Canadian) television! The fact that its still running just amazes me.

The don't watch it, just don't be a bitch about it.

How much time do you have? Do you just look for shows to complain about? There will always be fans of anything on television, you don't have to agree with them, just don't watch it. And who are you to say that your opinion of the show is so much more valid than ours? Just because you say it is garbage, doesn't necessarily make it so.

This show is an embarrassment to Canadian TV.
I expect it keeps going since it is purely Canadian content and has tons of gov't money shoveled into the budget.
Train 48, Check it Out and The Beachcombers are just plain horrendous shows.

You know, normally I would agree with the idea of "if you don't like it, don't watch it and shut up"......but, although I've never seen the show, I've been subjected to the commercials endlessly and without a remote in the house, it is absolutely painful and I have to agree with the people that say it's an embarrassment to Canada and it can only exist because of our Canadian Content laws. (Don't hate me, but the same can be said about The Tragically Tone-Deaf on our poor radios every five minutes)

two wrongs don't make a right - but two Wrights make an airplane.

I disagree completely with all of you people who go on about how horrible "Train 48" is.

I think most of you miss the major point of this show. It is my understanding that the actors on this show do not work from an actual script, just ideas. Most of what the actors say is improvised so they have to come up with the stuff pretty quickly. I challenge any of the actors on any of the big Hollywood sitcoms to consistently come up with stuff like that on the spur of the moment. Each episode of the show is actually taped earlier on the same day it originally airs so as to keep it fresh and as to the minute in terms of current events as possible.

I find the storylines on "Train 48" interesting and topical. Sometimes you have to suspend you belief some to enjoy the show, but so what? Suspending your belief is something you have to do with any show, be it "Will & Grace" or "Alias", or any of the hundreds of others on the air. No television show is ever truly realistic. Each show is only as realistic as that show's producer's vision is.

There are countless bad American shows and in my opinion "Train 48" is far superior to much of the American reality TV garbage.

Don't worry, it's cancelled. I talked to someone from the show today, and they said it was over. Not too hard to meet a Train 48 cast member.

How can this boring show be on the air for two years??? I would have love to see scenes from outside the train.. Maybe the show could been more interesting.

I asked people who the hell actually watch this show. A co-workers of mine said all her siblings would watch that show daily because there was nothing better than that. I was like WTF?!?!

I agree, this show is a trainwreck

A complete train wreck, I'm glad Train 48 is gone.

First of all, Train 48 was very well done. It was an improv show and sorry that it may have been a little too adult for those of you who spend your time spewing out unjustified critisism about Canadian television. The show was probably the only one that dealth with everyday conversation which is a fresh change from all of the poorly and unrealistically written sit-coms we have today. I would like all of these people who critisize train 48 with all their clever puns "train wreck 48" haha, to maybe go out and try their hand at improv and see how much skill it takes. Don't dish it out if you can't take it!

reply

I agree that Train 48 sucked, and should have never been put on TV at all.
