Von Dutch came and went but if you went around O.C. today you'd see the same douchebags in their 40s walking around acting like they're still in their early 20s.
With the pandemic still around but calming down, things are slowly opening up and when I was in Huntington Beach last weekend all of the BROstuarants were filled with dorky white dudes with beards, MAGA hats, and skanky girlfriends/wives whose tattoos looked more like bruises.
Interestingly enough, Newport Beach and the southern beach towns have a lot of Arabs, Persians, Israelis and Asians who moved in 10 years ago so it's not as lilly-white anymore as this show portrays, but there are still pockets like HB and Cooter de Caza where women like Summer and Marissa would be married now with botoxed faces and sunburnt skin.
