It worked with Not Going Out and Hustle, let's make it work now!

Hope it works , I still enjoy the show . The cast is working well together , shame to end now .

I just clicked on the link and signed the petition. I'm #94 so I hope many others sign. Larry Lamb has done a tremendous job in helping to put this series back on its feet, and of course the writing has improved as well. I didn't think I'd want to watch after the 2-parter Last Man Standing but Larry Lamb has really pulled it together. Tracy Ann Oberman is wonderful as Fiona and I'm so happy that she's the antithesis of her Eastenders character.

Not Going Out apparently was never finished. There is a new episode out at Christmas.

Was Hustle ever cancelled before the series finished?

Last year New Tricls was a shadow of what it used to be which is the reason why the Beeb called it a day. This series has been better.

Its that man again!!

I think it could always come back in some form. Maybe a Christmas special where they head off to Australia to assist Steve with a case he's working on or somewhere in Europe to help Danny with something connected to Interpol. Things definitely picked up with Larry Lamb joining the show and Tracy Ann Oberman being a regular.

It has ended. However the way it faded out really was not something good. While we did have again a tale of corrupted female ladder climbing associated with a darling member of a minority group who worked as trouser pocketing??? charity organiser [anything recent about that type in the news]. The wishy washy bucket list plans mentioned half way through the episode. Disappointing that they brought on nearly a full change of personnel to see it finished. Wonder how the actors felt about that. I suppose the ending of any partnership series can leave a taste in the mouth. I am not able to recall many but In Battlestar Galactica I suppose they ended up in that legendary land they heard about. I suppose the A Team were finally vindicated and able to settle down. Now we know that the Police have no real desire to dig up old bones especially if it might show up blind eyes way back in the day. Strickland did say he was now the guy responsible for our cold case team and obviously much more yet we then have our river boat scene our team already having jumped ship to other fields [overnight it seems]. Winding it up like that was not helpful to the many who did stick with it. Would have been better if money was not always used as the problem and the idea of UCOS was being taken on by other large police authorities as it had proved so effective. I thought that the inception was that it might be a lower cost unit was why it came into being.

I wonder when the police are going to take a leaf out of the fire services book. We know that quite a few firemen have started fires sometimes because they are sick and sometimes to justify an existence. Yes we do have the times when a copper gets a call [about anything] at home so he can claim some pounds, has that stopped yet?].

Hey Ho its now on to another tale of many episodes requiring my investment.

How to get away with Murder, True Detective, Murder in the First and it just goes on. I really must get off the couch.
