No, nobody has. I have been looking for a copy of it, but it seems like it doesn't really exist, despite the eleven votes it has received here on IMDB. But it is on my to see list, if ever I come across it.
shareoh believe me it does exist... It was screened at Montreal during the Fantasia Festival in July/August 2003. All I can say is that it is truly excellent. I love Miike's flix and this is one of my all time faves. Cross your fingers, it would seem a japanese distrubutor got his hands on the rights and is planing zone 1 exports DVDs (might be Kino Video but cannot confirm that) soon acording to a local asian repertoire video club. No dates or names yet, but definitely look out for it.
shareThank the gods of Film! After I watched my first Miike movie (Audition) I vowed to see as many of his other films that I could get my hands on. Nineteen Miike masterpieces later, I've run out. And I have been anticipating this movie as well as Agitator, Chakushin Ari, Zebraman, and Izo for a few months now (but it feels like years). Hopefully America sees The Man in White soon. I need it. I feel like I'm suffering from withdrawal....
So you've seen the film? (Lucky...) I'm certain it will be great. How does it compare to, say, Rainy Dog, or Ley Lines? Those are two of my favorite Miike films so far.

It's comin' out on dvd soon in japan, so hopefully we should a translated bootleg or a western release shortly after.
apparently it's got 2 parts. it stars the same guy from agitator.
