What Kinsey didn't get !

Kinsey made many interesting studies into the sexuality of homo sapians, but failed to realise the following.

1) We humans have sex for one reason only, to procreate. Because its the only way we humans can carry on the species.

2) Sex can be great on a moderate level, but it can also destroy us. Let me elaborate. Then the living standard fall in a society(civil war, economic collaps etc.) What do people do? They start to corpulate as much as rabbits, like there is no tomorrow. Thereby causing futher destruction of their own society, because for every born human, the more strain it puts in the natural resources of the planet.

Therefore it could be nice if a device or drug could be developed which would allow to de-activate and activate Our sexual urges at a time of our own choosing.

Two people can love each other with out having sex. I loved my late girlfriend to much to ever have sex with her.

1) So? Just 'cause it's intended for procreation doesn't mean we can't have sex to show that we love our partner. Sex is intimacy, more for emotional connection. Wives and husbands have it often, not just for babies.

2) You just contradicted yourself. There are many childless couples out there having a lot of sex but not wanting children. And if governments and religion organizations would stop complaining about how sex education and birth control increases pregnancy--it doesn't, it reduces the number of pregnancies--maybe overpopulation in certain areas would decrease.

There is however a drug that would sterilize a man until he wishes to reverse it. It's being developed in India and American birth control companies are refusing to bring it over because it's a one-time thing and they want profit. Complain to them for being greedy instead of helping reduce unwanted pregnancies in the states.

Funny. I always thought religion and wars for that said religion were the downfall of society.

Actually not all republicans are like that and pointing out that he Republican, just point out how petty you are that, maybe your not as is bright as you would like to assume.
I've have met some that are fairly smart nice people( individuals who are pro-choice, pro-gay, pro-separation of C&S and are mostly socially libertarian) who share the republican view.

I personally feel that havin sex reduces my actions and thoughts to something that an ape could have, and I didn't like it!
